By choosing the action area of the intervention, we took the historical background as the starting point for the installation of the function at the site with non-ordinary environmental conditions. Our goal was to create a chain-like developing line in connection with the previous development area along the castle wall, and to create a permanent visual element in the city. One of the double fire wheel lifts – inspired ont the masterpiece's fire wheel - is always visible in the section of the castle wall between Dobó Bastion and the Bastion of Kovácsok.

The double fire wheel lift rises along the castle wall and arrives at the castle wall section between Dobó Bastion and the Bastion of Kovácsok on a cantilevered receiving tread structure, which connects to the existing ground level of the arrival level (the parapet of the castle wall can be dismantled in this part). The cantilever structure provides an airy yet safe point of arrival and a spectecular view for visitors, surrounded by a safety glass railing.
